Ancaster Hard White

Ancaster Hard White is a fine to medium grained oolitic Lincolnshire limestone from the middle Jurassic age. 

Typical applications:

• Internal flooring
• Statuary
• Stone cladding
• Ashlar
• Stone dressings
• Walling stone
• Monuments

Its excellent slip resistance means Hard White is particularly suitable for internal flooring. While its durability and weathering qualities make it a superb choice for all kinds of external stonework. 

We are currently the only quarry extracting authentic Ancaster Hard White limestone.

Ancaster Weatherbed

Ancaster Weatherbed is medium to course grained oolitic Lincolnshire limestone from the middle Jurassic age. 

Typical applications:

• Internal flooring
• Stone cladding
• Walling stone

Ancaster Weatherbed is a very hard limestone, it’s ability to take a polish and exceptional durability make it eminently suitable for internal flooring. It is primarily buff in colour with occasional grey/blue inclusions. It is available Mixed (buff and blue/grey together) or Buff where the grey/blue has been selected out.
